SIGNATURE PERFORMANCES 2023 AND 2024

In 2023 and 2024, Fans anticipate Signature performances in the women 100M, 200M, 400M, and 800M. Stars and competitive Athletes are planning to surprise. They are planning to deliver an extravaganza of performances to cap the era 2016 – 2024. Fans will be delighted, always remembering where they were when the 100M world record became 10.47 seconds, the 200M world record became 21.2 seconds, the 400M world record became 47.5, and the 800M world record became 1:52.55.

Track and Field 2023 is moving forward. Expectations are Stars will be ready and competitors will be back rejuvenated and determined to outperform their rivals

2023 and 2024, will be defining years for some Track and Field stars. Careers will end or begin in these two years. Women 100M record will be 10.47 and the 200M record will be 21.2 seconds. BeyondApparent.com thinks the Olympic record holder for the 100M is most likely to accomplish that feat as long as there are no hidden injuries.

Women 400M and 800M events will be very competitive. Gabby Thomas will hunt for treasure in the 400M event. The 800M is still unsorted. With the exception of Athing Mu, there is no indication in 2023 of anyone ready to be World Champion in the 800M event

2023 promises to be a rebuilding Year for Male Jamaican sprinters. Jamaican Female sprinters, particularly Stars have unfinished business. Fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah (ETH) anticipate excellent years in 2023 and 2024. They are anxious for Signature Performances. The next two years 2023 and 2024 is the time to run 10.47 for the 100M event. If a time of 10.47 is not accomplished Fans will wait decades for that opportunity. If she runs 10.47 for the 100M in Budapest or Paris, that record will last forever and a Day.

Absent injuries, ETH will to be a Factor in the Women 100M and 200M events in Budapest Hungary August 19, 2023. Elaine Thompson – Herah, has work to do but nothing to be nervous about. The Spear will be burning in Budapest and will make Jamaica proud

Athletes planning to be in the Women 100M Final in Budapest with a Personal Best (PB) slower than 10.7X should skip the event. Participating in the event with a PB south of 10.7X, will make you late for Dinner, where dinner is the Gold Medal. The Women’s 100M Final in Budapest 2023 is on Track for a Time of 10.61 or better.

The Philippines Track and Field competition continues with enthusiasm and optimism. Sources believe that participation and performance in the female camp will rival the spirit of Jamaican Athletes. It will take time to duplicate times, distances, and heights but they are moving forward.

Philippines Athletes are making efforts to improve their skills in Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump. They are exhibiting performances consistent with an “I can do” attitude. Once competitively successful in International meetings, confidence will set in making the sky the limit. Future SEA Games will be preparation for Olympic competition.

Boxing, weightlifting, gymnastics, and swimming programs appear to be well on the way to producing Stars in the near future. Current Athletes in these disciplines are not yet Household names but avid Fans think that like Hidilyn Diaz and EJ OBIENA, some will attain prominence soon.

In Boxing, Female and Male Kababayans are stepping in the Ring fearless and throwing barrage of punches. They are competing in a manner the equivalent of “I am Pilipino and here to win”. Eumir Marcial is a promising Boxer who should have a successful Professional career. The “young uns” are maintaining the Legacy.

Weightlifting is now a prominent sport. Weightlifters are encouraged by the performances of Hidilyn Diaz in SEA Games – 2022. Pinoys expect their good fortunes to continue. Fans expect the Team to be competitive on the International stage.

In Gymnastics, Carlos Yulo should maintain his form. The Philippines Athletes are progressively working on their talents. The Women’s Gymnastics Team is competitive. Fans sense a Pride of the Philippines among them, or a Burning Spear somewhere.  The mettle of Philippines Women Athletes will be obvious in Olympics 2024

Swimming is frontline event for the Filipino Team. Kababayans are always striving to be as good as Americans are in the Pool. CHLOE ISLETA is leading the effort. Hidilyn Diaz encourages another First in an event. Chloe Isleta embraces the challenge and look forward to Olympics 2024. There is no doubt that Filipinos would like to be as good as Jamaicans are on the Track.

Pole Vault in the Philippines is getting attention. E J Obiena and Natalie Uy are creating excitement. Natalie Uy is someone to follow. Fans of E J Obiena see him as a high prospect for a Medal in the Pole Vault Olympics 2024. It is likely that he will win the Gold Medal at Olympics 2024. He did not win the Gold Medal at WAC – 2022 but he performed at a high Level and won the Bronze.

SEA Games 2022 produced encouraging performances. The Women 200M Final performance was impressive. Performances overall were encouraging spiritually but physically there is significant work required. All Athletes are back in constructive Training and preparation for WAC – 2023 and Olympics 2024. The Tail Gate Party continues to Olympics 2024.

EXPECTATIONS TRACK AND FIELD – 2023

Track and Field 2023 has officially begun. Expectations are the Stars will be ready but many competitors will be back rejuvenated and determined to unseat or outperform their rivals

2023 and 2024 will be defining years for some Track and Field stars. Careers will end or begin in these two years. Women 100M record will be 10.47 and the 200M record will be 21.2 seconds. HAPPY HOLIDAYS – JAM AND PH ATHLETES

Beyond Christmas and a New Year is Track and Field Season – 2023. The Holidays is the calm before the competition begins. 2023 promises to be a rebuilding Year for Male Jamaican sprinters. Jamaican Female sprinters, particularly the Stars have unfinished business. Fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah(ETH) anticipate excellent years in 2023 and 2024. Between 2023 and 2024 is the time to run 10.47 for the 100M event. If a time of 10.47 is not accomplished Fans will wait for decades for that opportunity. If she runs 10.47 for the 100M in Budapest or Paris, that record will last forever and a Day.

ETH is planning to destroy the competition 2023 and 2024 in a demonstrative way. The anticipated rematch between Elaine Thompson-HerahShelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson in the 100M Final at WAC – 2022 did not materialize but 2023  promises a different result.

Absent injuries, ETH will to be a Factor in the Women 100M and 200M events in Budapest Hungary August 19, 2023. Elaine Thompson – Herah, has work to do but nothing to be nervous about. The Spear will be burning in Budapest and will make Jamaica proud

(ETH) PRESUMED CHAMPIONSHIP PLAN 2023 – 2024

Rise and shine break is over. Track and Field Season – 2023 is here. Awake from your sleepless slumber. Fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah (ETH) anticipate excellent years in 2023 and 2024. Now is the time to run 10.47 for the 100M event. Pens filled with ink waiting to sign-off on Performances, confirming her return to the throne of Women sprinting. She is one of two members in the EXCLUSIVE 10.6X Club for the 100M event.

Where does ETH go from a less than perfect season in 2022? She is planning to destroy the competition in a demonstrative way. She was not ready for the 100M and 200M at WAC – 2022. The anticipated rematch between Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson in the 100M Final at WAC – 2022 lacked the Neck and Neck drama. Regardless the race was competitive

Absent injuries, ETH will to be a Factor in the Women 100M and 200M events in Budapest Hungary August 19, 2023. Elaine Thompson – Herah, has work to do but nothing to be nervous about. The Spear will be burning in Budapest and will make Jamaica proud.

Despite the Dishonoring at recent Award Celebrations, Fans believe Elaine Thompson-Herah (ETH), back-to-back 2016 and 2021 double Olympic Champion with an Olympic record in the 100M, and awarded Female Athlete of the Year in 2021, has more significant and longer lasting accomplishments. If she runs 10.47 for the 100M in Budapest or Paris, that record will last forever.

Moving forward it will be difficult to make Jamaica Olympic Team as a member of the 100M or 4 X 100M squad. 10.6X in the Women 100M event is the formula to win. The Tail Gate Party continues.

TAKE AWAY FROM DIAMOND LEAGUE – 2022

Diamond League season – 2022 is over and in some instances “mercifully”. Clearly, some Stars did not perform at expectations or sustained injuries that affected performance. There were Stars not ready to perform well or losing Velocity. 2022 was a Year in which one competitor said, “I did not come to compete, I came to win”. Fans like that kind of confidence in an Athlete, it means she came into the Season with “Fire in the Belly”. Base on observation, Fans might have to reset expectations for Olympics 2024. While Fans are not ignoring WAC – 2023, they find the Olympics historically more significant and most likely where the Women’s 100M world record of 10.49 will be broken. I anticipate the winning time and new record to be 10.47.

Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce had a Great Season. Fans believe 2022 was the Pinnacle of her Career. However, Fans cannot imagine her running 10.54 or faster for the 100M. Fans believe Elaine Thompson-Herah (ETH), back-to-back 2016 and 2021 Olympic victories with an Olympic record in the 100M, is more significant and longer lasting.

Fans still think Elaine Thompson-Herah (ETH), can run 10.47 for the 100M. She just needs to regain focus. Shericka Jackson had a phenomenal season but until she runs a 10.47 100M and or destroy the Olympic Record of 10.61; she is not likely to be the next World Record holder in the event. Yes, we “want to” be starting something.

Where does ETH go from a less than perfect season in 2022? She was not ready for the 100M and 200M at WAC – 2022. The times required to win the featured Women events – 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 400M Hurdles, and 100M Hurdles were faster than recorded in the National Trials. The anticipated rematch between Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson in the 100M Final at WAC – 2022 lacked the Neck and Neck drama. Regardless the race was competitive

The sweep in the Women’s 100M occurred during WAC 2022, July 15 to July 24 but many dreamt of a 1234 finish with Kemba Nelson joining the Party. Shericka Jackson made progress with her Speed but given her running style she seem incapable of getting to the 100M mark before 10.7X seconds as was demonstrated at the Jamaica National Trials and WAC 100M Final. Undoubtedly, Shericka Jackson has figured out the “formula “to win the 200M.

In the off-season Athletes will have to develop a two-year plan, 2023 – 2024. Plan should include what is working and what is not. Do more of what is working and abandon what is not. All Athletes, base on performances in 2022, should be reviewing Weight Training. Lifting weights produce power but too much weight and improper technique will jeopardize speed and in some cases cause long term or permanent damage. Sprinting requires power but a damaged shoulder or back will affect speed. An Athlete cannot win the 100M without Speed in the first 30 meters. No speed no Dinner, where dinner is the Gold Medal.

There is Excitement and Entertainment in Track and Field. Going forward in the 100M and 200M events, Stars will have no time to keep anything in Reserve, they will leave it all on the Track. Stars will let competitors listen for the Gun and watch the Feet. The moment a competitor’s feet is off Blocks, Stars will BOOGIE. Stars should remember to treat competitors with respect. The competitive conduct in Track is “Good morning”, “Good afternoon”, and “Good Night” – Meet me at the Tape. The Tail Gate Party continues all the way to Olympics 2024.

JUNE – MONTH BEFORE THE REMATCH – 2022

June is speed month. Stars will put their Head, uniform, and Track shoes on. It is the month before Track and Field Rematch between Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson at World Championships 2022. Some Stars are not ready but they are getting there. Elaine Thompson-Herah (ETH) is the Fastest Woman Alive but that does not mean she will always win in June. Regardless of what transpires in June, she is the Fastest Woman Alive.

In Rome, Shericka Jackson ran the 200M in a time of 21.91. That is a good step forward for her season. Pundits and naysayers should remember that Shericka Jackson can run faster. Her performance sends a strong message regarding expectations for the 200M event at World Championships 2022. To Pundits and naysayers who like to bash ETH, sending a warning will require a minimum time of 21.51.

There will be lots of Fans chatter such as; we think ETH will destroy the Field again, or we think Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce is going to defend her World Championship Title, or we think Shericka Jackson is getting tired of being third Fiddler and generate an upset. All results are possible if you believe.

Which Star will be the Phantom of the Opera? Will Gabby Thomas impose her will and be a World Championships Track and Field party crasher. Will Mboma experience a miracle and make an appearance. We will just have to wait and see. Whatever!!! The Five – Elaine, Shelly, Shericka, Gabby, and Christine Mboma will be factors. World Championships 2022, as it pertains to Women sprints, will revolve around the FIVE

Fans are in anticipation of a rematch between Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson at World Athletic Championships 2022 in Eugene, Oregon. Elaine will keep focus on the prize and stay hungry. Fans anticipate Elaine will be ready to perform at World Athletic Championships 2022, July 15 to July 24.

Athletes planning to be in the Women 100M Final in Oregon with a Personal Best (PB) slower than 10.7X should STAY HOME or skip the event. Participating in the event with a PB south of 10.7X, will make you late for Dinner, where Dinner is the Gold Medal. The Women 100M Final in Oregon 2022 is on Track for a Time of 10.47 or better. The Women 200M Final in Oregon 2022 is on Track for a Time of 21.5 or better The Tail Gate Party has begun.

LEAVE GRANDMA’S CHILD ALONE

The Pundits and naysayers are looking for a story. Here is all you need to know. Elaine Thompson-Herah is the Fastest Woman Alive. That does not mean she will always win but for now she is the Fastest Woman Alive.

The notion that Elaine Thompson-Herah Verbiage needs an upgrade is preposterous. Any expressed or implied notion that she now needs to be a “Fulbright” scholar is nonsense to the Nth degree. She is not a Rhodes Scholar and do not care to be anymore.

Sorry, Elaine Thompson-Herah never promised you a Rose Garden. When you critics, can run the 100M in 10.61seconds and give the impression that a time of 10.31 was possible, if no Left Arm salute, perhaps we will acknowledge your collective presence. Until then, Fans of Elaine Thompson-Herah will not dignify the “Dirty Remarks“. We Fans will fight if we find it necessary.

From now until after Olympics – 2024, Elaine Thompson-Herah will deliver signature performances to your eyes. Pundits and Naysayers will be escorted to the side and relegated to the Peanut gallery. Fans are in anticipation of a rematch between Elaine Thompson-Herah, Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Shericka Jackson at World Athletic Championships 2022 in Eugene, Oregon. Fans anticipate Elaine will be ready to perform at World Athletic Championships 2022, July 15 to July 24.

Athletes planning to be in the Women’s 100M Finals in Oregon with a Personal Best (PB) slower than 10.7X should skip the event. Participating in the event with a PB south of 10.7X, will make you late for Dinner. The Women 100M Final in Oregon 2022 is on Track for a Time of 10.47 or better. The mission for Elaine Thompson-Herah is to continue moving forward and make Jamaica Proud. She will avoid and ignore envious Pundits and naysayers. The Tail Gate Party has begun.

WOMEN TRACK AND FIELD BEYOND OLYMPICS 2021

Times are changing. Athletes are relocating or changing Camps and affiliation. Perhaps, Athletes should change coaches every Eight (8) years or after two (2) Olympic Cycles. This will give Athletic Pundits additional material to write. Arguably, 2016 – 2024 will be the Era of Elaine Thompson – Herah. Despite taking a presumed Sabbatical in 2017 – 2020, one cannot refute her Dominance in the Women 100M and 200M events and the difference she makes on a 4 X100M Relay Squad.

Olympics 2021 and Prefontaine Classic 2021 is History. Up next of significance is World Athletic Championships – 2022. Fans envision another 123 in the Women 100M event. If the Cast of characters is the same and Elaine, Shelly, and Shericka are healthy, then it is possible. World Athletic Championships could be considered a redundancy but it is good for the Sport of Track and Field. Monetarily, it is good for Athletes of the Caliber we saw in Tokyo Olympics 2021. Fans will enjoy seeing another 123 performance and greedy enough to request repeats, the equivalent of refills at the Soda Fountain.

World Athletic Championships – 2022 should be entertaining. There is a possibility that Elaine Thompson – Herah will run 10.47 and 21.2 for the 100M and 200M respectively. Fans anticipate Shericka Jackson will join the 100M 10.6X club. A review of Olympics 2021 and Prefontaine Classic 2021 show Shericka Jackson closing fast at the end of each race. This is confirmation that Shericka Jackson is making progress with her Speed. There is work required on her start. Start is not limited to getting out of the Blocks it includes forward progress by or about 30 Meters into the 100M and 200M events.

Some athletes could have a career-challenging year in 2022. For example if Shacari Richardson finds it difficult to beat 123, she may not participate in World Athletic Championships – 2022 or Olympics 2024. Will Christine Mboma get faster and allowed to compete in the 400M? Will Gabby Thomas decide to compete in the 100M? Fans of Gabrielle Thomas are not keen on her ability to be a Star in the 100M and the 400M events. Her Athletic history seems best suited for the 200M. Gabrielle Thomas can be a star in the 400M event if she studies this race. Regardless she will compete.

Olympics 2024 should be exciting. The French Athletes will bring their best Game but not likely to be as good as this 400M Performance. Fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah yearn for Signature Performances at the Paris Olympics – 2024. Gauntlet down, Fans anticipate 10.47 for the 100M and 21.2 for the 200M or better. The Spear should burn in Paris. Should the gods of Athletic Health smile, Elaine Thompson – Herah, will perform at an extremely high level and make Jamaica proud. All 100M finalist in Paris know in advance, that if their Personal Best (PB) is south of 10.7X, they will be late for Dinner where dinner is the Gold Medal.

Three-Peat and 123 is very much a possibility at the Paris Olympics – 2024. Three-Peat – Fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah believe she can win the 100M and 200M for a third consecutive time at the Paris Olympics – 2024.123 – Fans envision the expected three (3) Jamaican entrants in the Women’s 100M Final in Paris, to finish 1, 2, 3, and stake Flag on the Podium, regardless of the names associated with the entrants.

From now until after Olympics 2024, it is unlikely that Shacari Richardson will beat anyone on the Women 100M podium in Tokyo Olympics 2021. She can keep dreaming. Fans do not see Shacari Richardson winning a 200M on the world stage. Elaine Thompson – Herah, Gabby Thomas, and Christine Mboma will deny her the opportunity to be at the top of any Podium. Fans believe that Natasha Morrison might be ready to step forward. With some Positive vibration, she could be the next Burning Spear.

For now, let us move forward to World Athletic Championships – 2022. Philippines Athletes are encouraged by the performances of Hidilyn Diaz and EJ OBIENA. Pinoys expect their good fortunes to continue.

Elaine Thompson – Herah, performed at an extremely high level. She displayed her talent and made Jamaica proud. Before the Olympics, I declared that the Women 100M Final in Tokyo 2021 was on Track for a Time of 10.61 or better. All 100M finalist knew that if their Personal Best (PB) were south of 10.8X, they would be late for Dinner where dinner is the Gold Medal.

Elaine Thompson – Herah performance in the 200M, was stellar and an awesome display of Acceleration, Velocity, and Speed. She accelerated at the start and maintained velocity for the distance. There is no winning coming from behind in the 100M and 200M. Despite the results of all previous performances, Elaine Thompson – Herah came away with Two Gold Medals.

There is no holding back or keeping anything in Reserve when running the 100M and 200M. Leave it all on the Track. At the start, let your opponents listen for the Gun, you watch the Feet. The moment Opponents lead Foot off Blocks, you BOOGIE. If in the 100M, First 4 Steps “Good morning”, next 4 Steps “Good afternoon”, next 4 Steps “Good Night”. Internal Mantra is “Meet me at the Tape”. If in the 200M, midway the Bend “Good morning”, end of the Bend “Good afternoon”, stabilize and “Good Night”, Internal Mantra is “Meet me at the Tape”.

Elaine Thompson – Herah is a Class Act Jamaican sprinter. She won the 100M and 200M at the 2016 Rio Olympics and repeated the feat at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Elaine Thompson – Herah destroyed the Field in both events. Elaine Thompson – Herah, confirmed that she is capable of running 10.61 in the 100M and Fans believe she can produce a time of 21.2 in the 200M.

Post Olympics, there were sore losers. Animus was abounding among presumed “Sport Fans” from various Countries towards Jamaican Athletes. Some refuse to acknowledge a stellar performance, with the undertone of – there goes those damn Jamaicans again. However, Takeaway from such negative sentiments is that people are not Anti- Jamaicans but rather hate success.

Moving forward it will be difficult to make the Jamaica Olympics Team as a member of the 100M squad. The Era of 10.6X in the Women 100M event is well on the way.
