PHILIPPINES ATHLETES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – 2022

Philippines Athletes prepare for World Athletic Championships – 2022. Philippines Track and Field Athletes are moving forward. They are encouraged by the performances of Hidilyn Diaz and EJ OBIENA in Tokyo Olympics – 2021. Pinoys expect their good fortunes to continue. Fans anticipate the Team will be competitive and hope all Athletes are in good health and filled with optimism after the typhoon.

Kristina Marie Knott made her Olympics debut in Tokyo but her performances in the Women’s 100M and 200M were not as impressive as anticipated. She should improve for World Athletic Championships – 2022. Fans are wondering, which Athlete will win the second Gold medal for the Philippines. Will it happen soon and will it be at a World Athletic Championships or an Olympics?

Fans of Hidilyn Diaz are waiting to hear her Athletic plans after Marriage. Will she compete in one more World Athletic Championships? She might not compete in World Athletic Championships – 2022. Fans think she will compete in the SEA Games and then focus on Olympics 2024. Olympics 2024 should conclude her active Olympics Career with expectations she will participate in coaching aspiring Weight Lifting Olympic caliber Athletes.

E J Obiena should perform well in Pole Vault, fingers crossed. Off the Track, issues should be resolved before World Athletic Championships – 2022. Fans of E J Obiena see him as a high prospect for a Medal in Pole Vault. He might not get that Gold Medal at World Athletic Championships – 2022 but he will be competitive. It is more likely he will be early for Dinner at Olympics 2024.

Philippines Track and Field Athletes are staying in shape. The 2021 Ayala Philippines Athletics Championships, in Baguio City, produced performances that are encouraging. Notably performances in the Men: 100M, 200M, 400M, 400M Hurdles, 110 M Hurdles, and 800M. Among the Women: the 100M and 400M performances were encouraging. Performances were encouraging spiritually but physically there is significant work required. Natalie Uy is someone to follow. All Athletes are expected to get back to constructive Training.

Carlos Yulo should maintain his form in Gymnastics. Swimming, Gymnastics, Boxing, and Weight Lifting will be frontline for the Filipino Team. The Philippines Athletes are progressively working on their talents to be as good as Jamaicans on the Track and Americans in the Pool. Fans sense a Pride of the Philippines among them, or a Burning Spear somewhere. The Women’s Team appears competitive. Women’s Pole Vault should have an entrant from the Philippines. There are Philippines Women Athletes whose mettle will be obvious in Olympics 2024.

PHILIPPINES PERFORMANCE TOKYO OLYMPICS – 2021

Philippines Athletes had a successful Olympics in Tokyo. Getting a Gold medal is a big deal when the reality is some Countries did not get a Medal of any color. Compared to the Jamaicans who had to travel from the Caribbean Sea, the Philippines Team traveled up the Geographical Road to Japan. Each Philippines Athlete felt that 2021 was the year at least one Kababayan would win an Olympic Gold Medal. In Tokyo, Kababayans feel a sense of Home Field advantage.

Philippines Athletes worked hard to develop their individual talents and despite not being as good as Jamaicans on the Track or as Americans in the Pool, they exhibited the Pride of the Philippines and discovered a Burning Spear.

Fans searched Gymnastics, Track and Field, Swimming, and Boxing events for that Burning Spear but without success. Simultaneously Fans began to pay attention to the approach and performance of Hidilyn Diaz in the Weight Lifting event. Hidilyn Diaz in the 55kg weightlifting event was an Athlete ready to step forward and be the Philippines first Olympic Gold Medalist.

Hidilyn Diaz, competing on the World Stage since 2007 and winning a Silver medal in Rio 2016, was ready to be an Olympic Gold Medalist. She was determined to give every Kilogram of effort to accomplish her Goal. She withstood the PRESSURE from competitors to attain victory. Her performance was exemplary and a model for all Philippines Athletes to copy regardless of Athletic focus.

Hidilyn Diaz, would not be denied Olympic Gold even it meant Lifting the entire day and if necessary the rest of the week. She was not in a rush to have Dinner or Baboy (Pork), until she won her unique Gold Medal.

The Philippines Olympic Gold Medal drought is over. Moving Forward we anticipate competitive Performances from James Deiparine, Kristina Marie Knott, Carlo Paalam, and Carlos Yulo in the SEA Games and Olympics 2024.

PHILIPPINES PREPARE FOR OLYMPICS – 2021

Philippines Athletes are confident about their chances in the upcoming 2021 Olympics. On the Women, side of the Track Kristina Marie Knott with Personal Best in the 200M of 23.01 and 11.27 in the 100M appears to be the best on the Team. Pending satisfying Olympics qualification requirements, I expect her to be competitive.

Satisfying Olympics qualification requirements is something most Athletes overlook. However, in the next two months qualification requirements will be Front and Center. Compared to Jamaica, The Philippines Team will travel up the Road to Japan.

Kristina Marie Knott will be an inspiration to her Teammates. Her performances In the Women’s 100M and 200M is impressive. In the Women’s 400M Hurdles, Robyn Lauren Brown has potential. Her technique is good but needs to work on Speed. The 4x100M Women’s Team looks ready to compete with a little bit of improvement. The Women’s Team appears competitive. Women’s Pole Vault will have an entrant from the Philippines that might surprise Tokyo. There are Women Athletes whose mettle will be obvious in Olympics 2024.

On the Men, side of the Track and Field competition, several Athletes standout, but James Deiparine looks promising as well as Eric Cray. Eric Cray’s performances are impressive but he has some major work ahead to improve and be successful in Olympics 2021. The Men’s Team might be competitive in the Field but probably not on the Track.

In the 400M Hurdles, Eric Cray with a time of 50.21 is the best for that event in the Philippines. He has Speed but Technique needs improvement. The 110M Hurdles features Clinton Kingsley Bautista with a time of 13.98 but with tremendous upside. For the100M, Anfernee Talaboc Lopena with a Personal best of 10.61 is the best I observed. He has potential but might not have enough time to be competitive in Olympics 2021. T Anthony Beram, with a time of 20.83 in the 200M and 46.39 in the 400M, in 2021 looks impressive. In the 800M, Carter James Lilly at 1:47.52 with a little bit of work could improve his time to 1:45:00 and be competitive.

The Men’s 4x400M Team should be competitive. Ernest John Obiena should deliver in the Pole Vault, fingers crossed. The fans are expecting improvement in 4x100M. Carlos Yulo should maintain is form in Gymnastics in the Olympics. Swimming and Gymnastics will be frontline for the Filipino Team.

The Philippines Athletes are progressively working on their talents to be as good as Jamaicans on the Track and Americans in the Pool. I sense a Pride of the Philippines among them, or a Burning Spear somewhere.
