Greetings. Grand Slam Track (GST) in Kingston, Miami, and Philadelphia was a success. Clearly Per Capita income and Lifestyles were not addressed before the events. Arrangements to give excess Bleacher seats to schools and charity organizations were not made. Arrangements will be needed at all future GST venues. It will be easier to sell concession stand items than fill seats. The cancellation of GST LA is disturbing. Will the Los Angeles venue continue to be a problem? I hope the authorities resolve this matter before Olympics 2028.
Fans will support Kingston as a Location each year for GST but not as the lead month. In men sprinting for Jamaica. Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville, Akeem Blake, Nishion Ebanks, Rohan Watson and Bryan Levell, should figure prominent in competitions to develop a “Big 3” in men sprinting. At this juncture, Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville, and Akeem Blake are odds on favorite to get the Top Three (3) spots and produce a 1,2,3 result at World Athletics Championships (WAC) in September. Athletes are reminded to check Qualifying standards. Oblique Seville still has to check in at the Inquiry Lounge. It appears that Oblique Seville is still working on his approach to winning the 100m, absent the staring and finger pointing.

Grand Slam Track (GST) will enhance the sport. Some Athletes will experience Increase in Income. Track and Field is the oldest Sport and is not going anywhere anytime soon. Every Sport has a Track or Field component.
2027 could see the birth of Grand Slam Field (GSF) or something similar. There is room for creativity. Such an arena could result in showcasing the Javelin event. GSF would allow for a peeling back of the Layers on the Onion associated with this competitive event. Opening and studying Javelin at this level will produce another Star or Legend in the event.
Fans believe Kishane Thompson will run a time of 9.69 seconds for the 100m in 2025. Akeem Blake should produce a time of 9.80 seconds and Oblique Seville a time of 9.84 seconds. It does not appear that Kishane, Akeem, or Oblique are interested in competing in the 200m. That is unfortunate because traditionally sprinters also ran the 200m. As the season move forward we will determine if Nishion Ebanks can run the 200m well.

Nishion Ebanks ran an impressive 60m at the Central Hurdles Meet in a Race that Kishane Thompson won in a magnificent time of 6.48 seconds. However, it is still too early to project Nishion Ebanks true abilities. Nishion has a good chance of making the 4X100m Relay Team or be a replacement should there be an injury. Many questions regarding comparisons between Kishane, Akeem, and Oblique will be answered in – June 2025.
Bryan Levell received the memo and is back in action for the 2025 Season. Regardless 60m and 100m are not events in which he is expected to do well. Fans will await his performances in the 200m. We believe that Bryan Levell might be able to run the 200m in about 19.72 seconds and the 100m in 9.94 seconds. Bryan Levell still needs to reconcile his mental approach to running the 200m event. When Bryan Levell is convinced that the 200m event is won in the first 100m he will be a much better competitor.
This group of Athletes, Kishane Thompson, Oblique Seville, and Akeem Blake has potential to develop into a “Big 3 Men” sprinting force. They will start slowly in 2025 and blossom into a dominant force by WAC 2025. All three men will need to revert to basics and reconstruct all phases of their 100m performance. Perish the thought of slow start, late Transition, and winning from behind. That approach is the recipe for 4th Place and agony of defeat in the 100m. There is no Dinner at the end of that path. For WAC 2025 Athletes need to bring their A-Game. There has never been a better time for a resurgence of Jamaica Male sprinting dominance. Fans are pleading for this eventuality.

Julien Alfred is considering a Double of 200m and 400m, participation this Season. Unfortunately that might not be her best option. Julien, is quietly creating a Saint Lucia Track Team. As soon as a Relay team of Athletes is assembled Saint Lucia will be ready. Gabby Thomas ascended to the Women’s 200m Champion but appears to have lost options. Sydney McLaughlin – Levrone took her Crown as the 400mH Olympic champion. She could have issues with competition in the 400m Flat. There will be exciting times in women competition. Nickisha Pryce , Ackera Nugent, Danielle Williams, Marielady Paulino, Salwa Eid Naser, Jasmine Comacho Quinn, and Masai Russell will have something to say about the 2025 Season.

“Big 3 Women” roster is still under re-construction. Tia Clayton is energized and roaring to go in 2025. Her sights are set on WAC 2025 and she will run a 10.7X for the 100m. Fans eagerly anticipate Tia Clayton to challenge for a spot on the “Big 3” roster. Even if she fails to get a sold spot in 2025, we believe she will before Olympics 2028.

The Prodigal daughter is back but wait and see if she will be joining us for Dinner. WAC is preparing Dinner to be served in September. The Olympic trials are over. The dust on the Track and Field in the Philippines, USA, and Jamaica is still settling. All three groups of Athletes are in Training camps fine tuning their skills in an effort to bring their A-Game to the spectacle that is Paris 2024 Olympics.
The Philippines team will focus on gymnastics, boxing, swimming, weight lifting, and Pole vault. There are many events in that mix to get multiple medals.

Paris 2024 Olympics will cover 45 Sports. There will be plenty of events to attend and numerous medals will be issued. There will be no medals for events resulting from an argument, incident, or accident. Fans are encouraged to check Pedigree at the Entrances. In essence, no violence.
USA and JAMAICA will engage in Athletic battle for Track and Field sprinting supremacy. Before Olympic Trials it appeared that USA had an edge in Sprinting. Like the Sand of an hour glass the granules are shifting and Jamaica is cautiously saying just wait a minute USA, not so fast. Let’s set the stage with lights and action.
Base on performances and team selections the following are expectations by Key events, Men and Women.
Men’s 100m – Fans see USA coming away with 2 medals but not necessarily the gold. Winning time should be about 9.65 seconds. Kishane Thompson, Noah Lyles, and Kenny Bednarek should leave with hardware. Oblique Seville could be a factor.
EUGENE, OREGON – JUNE 27: Kenny Bednarek competes in the first round of the men’s 200 meters on Day Seven of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Track & Field Trials at Hayward Field on June 27, 2024 in Eugene, Oregon. Women’s 100m – Fans see Julien Alfred, Shacarri Richardson, and Zoe Hobbs picking up hardware. Melissa Jefferson, Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce, and Shericka Jackson could be factors. Winning time should be about 10.70 seconds. Julien Alfred is aware that winning can become a habit. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

Men’s 200m – Fans see “Kung Fu” Kenny winning. The results should include Kenny Bednarek, Noah Lyles, and Bryan Lavelle. Bryan Lavelle is a sportsman pick. If Shanieke can get Bryan Lavelle to clean up his first 100m he might surprise the world. Winning time should be about 19.43 seconds.

Women’s 100m Hurdles – this event could be an Ackera Nugent vs. Masai Russell confrontation. These two STARS are rivals. They have competed multiple times before. This is the hardest event to pick top 3. Under duress fans will say Ackera Nugent, Masai Russell, and Danielle Williams should be top 3 and not necessarily in that order. Everyone else is a Factor. Whoever clears the 3rd hurdle first, wins the event. Winning time should be about 12.10 seconds.

Men’s 110m Hurdles – potentially a 1, 2, 3 finish for Jamaica, Rasheed Broadbell, Hansle Parchment, and Orlando Bennett. Having said that so cavalier, it might require Mr. Holloway to skip the contest. That is unlikely to happen if everyone is healthy. Suffice to say, Mr. Holloway will be a factor and a Force to reckon with. Winning time should be about 12.84 seconds.

Women’s 400m flat – this event will be competitive and exciting. Aaliyah Butler, Kendall Ellis, Alexis Holmes, MariLeidy Paulino, Nickisha Pryce, Sada Williams, Rhasidat Adeleke, and Natalia Kaczmarek will stage a battle. Nickisha Pryce will be a factor. Winning time should be about 48.4X seconds.

Track and Field Season 2024 is the year of the presumptive Triple Double in Women 100m and 200m at the Olympics. Avid Track Fans believe 2024 is the only year in History for that spectacular occurrence. One exceptional Athlete is two thirds there. You might have the experience of seeing just that.
Elaine Thompson Herah performance at Prefontaine classic 2024 was disappointing. Having said that ETH is still odds on favorite to win the 100m in Paris. Fans are wondering what happened after the start of this race. Did Elaine take a snooze after the gun sounded the alarm? It appears she did. Why would you fly from Jamaica to Oregon and not run. Did the preparation report highlight the incorrect date? Perhaps, she will be ready by June 6, 2024 for the Grenada Invitational. Mistakes happen and the Star is expected to be ready next time. Pundits and Naysayers should back off with the negativity. None of the Pundits and Naysayers can run 50 meters in 11.30 seconds.

Regardless of rumors about Achilles heel problem, Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) should return to Track shape. The Queen of Women Sprinting is moving forward with her preparation for Paris 2024. Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. She will acknowledge that she has an opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done and no chance of being repeated. She will have a chance to complete a Triple Double of the 100m and 200m at the Olympics. She will have an opportunity to add some granite to her already cemented Track and Field career. Her Legacy, despite a sub-par 2023 season will be forever known.

Women 200m event has become the Shericka Jackson Invitational. Gabby Thomas has significant work to do. Shacari Richardson is unlikely to contend for the Gold medal in the 200m. When ETH is ready in 2024 the excitement level will rise in this event. Do not be surprised if Shericka Jackson is challenged. Hold on to your hat if you need it for Church Services. When these two Stars come around the bend at Paris 2024, remove or lose your hat.

Women 100m Hurdles will be the Blue Ribbon event at Paris 2024. The competition will be fierce. The field will be talented. On any given day, any of the participants can win that event. The margin for error is low. Whoever clears the 3rd Hurdle first will have the best chance of winning the event.

The camps are quiet. Not much news about the Big Three. The big 3 as in Elaine Thompson – Herah, Shericka Jackson, and Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce. Feels like people are in recovery except no significant races have been run. There has been competition but none with any notable fan fare. To date here are the Athletes that made the cut.

Some athletes had an off year in 2023 but with fortitude, they bounced back and salvaged their season. Fans are happy to see that Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) through belief and resilience is presumed prepared for the 2024 season. She should have a 2024 season equivalent to 2021. Expectations are that she will join the 200m chase to break the world record of 21.34 seconds. With some effort, ETH can break the 100m world record of 10.49 seconds. Her performance should produce a time of 10.47 seconds. Track Fans cannot imagine Shacari Richardson or Shericka Jackson running the 100m event faster than 10.65 seconds.

Fans are expecting performances in the Women 200m event to be above the Elaine Thompson Herah line of 21.53 seconds. Athletes, whose 200m performance is slower than 22.00 seconds, should consider participating in another event. Fans are anticipating the Olympic winning time in Paris to be 21.24 seconds. These two Stars – Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson Herah are planning to assault the current 200m record of 21.34 seconds. Believe it or not.

February 2024 is the month for Athletes to discard the rust from inactivity, since the end of Season 2023. It is time to prepare the mind and body to compete in Olympics 2024. If the medal you received in 2023 is of the Bronze hue, then it is time to psyche yourself to obtain a prettier medal. If you did not get a medal in Season 2023, then re-focus in training and start all over.
All Athletes planning to participate at the Olympics July 26 to August 11, 2024, should know that Fans consider them capable on their best day, to step up to the podium. However, said Athlete must believe in him/ herself. I anticipate that by March at least one Male and one Female Athlete will declare that they are going to Paris to win.

Gabby Thomas will focus on the 200m, 4X100m Relay, and 4X400m Relay events. The 100m is not her event. She is stronger in distances greater than 100m. There is still hope that she will consider the 400m for Paris.

Fans believe that by Olympics 2024, Gabby Thomas 200m time should be about 21.5 seconds. That time might secure a position on the Podium. Women 200m Finals in Paris will be exciting. Sub 22.0 seconds will be required to get into the Final. Women 400m Finals in Paris will require Sub 49.0 seconds to get into the Final.

There is Excitement and Entertainment in Track and Field. Going forward in the 100m and 200m events, Stars will have no time to keep anything in Reserve in the 200m, they will leave it all on the Track. The moment a competitor’s feet is off Blocks, Stars will BOOGIE. Stars should remember to treat competitors with respect. The competitive conduct in Track is “Good morning”, “Good afternoon”, and “Good Night” – Meet me at the Tape.

It is unlikely that Shacari Richardson or Shericka Jackson will run the 100m faster than 10.65 seconds. Shacari or Shericka will be Factors in the Women 100m in Paris 2024. Shacari might win the 100m in Paris 2024 but unlikely to be on the 200m Podium. The Quest for Gold in women Sprints has never been more of a contest since “The First Olympics”. Do you remember that day?

Elaine Thompson Herah and Team discontinued relationship with Coach Shanikie Osbourne. Supposedly, Shanikie was asking for too much money. Fans hope none involved traded Athlete Coach Chemistry for dollars. Elaine Thompson Herah is the one doing the Training, Dieting, and Running but the intangible of Chemistry between Athlete and coach might be worth more than the Dollars. Athlete has to succeed in the Quest for Gold for that trade to be right.
Track and Field Season 2024 is the year of the presumptive Triple Double in Women 100m and 200m at the Olympics. Avid Track Fans believe 2024 is the only year in History for that spectacular occurrence. One exceptional Athlete is two thirds there. Fans would like to experience that achievement. The physical and the spiritual is always a delicate balancing act.
Fans are happy that Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) through belief and resilience is looking good and prepared for the 2024 season. She will have a 2024 season equivalent to 2021. However, distraction could have a negative impact. The Elite Track Club environment is not expected to be perfect for the Star.

Shericka Jackson has taken ownership of the Women 200m event. The event has become the Shericka Jackson Invitational. Gabby Thomas has significant work to do. Shacari Richardson is unlikely to contend for the Gold medal in the 200m. In 2024 Elaine Thompson – Herah (ETH) will raise the excitement level in this event. Do not be surprised if Shericka Jackson is challenged. There was an aura of frustration and tiredness by Shericka Jackson at the end of season 2023. Regardless when those two Stars come around the bend at Paris 2024, remove or lose your hat.

Expectations are that Elaine Thompson – Herah will join the 200m chase to break the world record of 21.34 seconds. With some effort, ETH can break the 100m world record of 10.49 seconds. Her performance should produce a time of 10.47 seconds. Fans are expecting performances in the Women 200m event to be better than 21.53 seconds. Athletes, whose 200m performance is slower than 22.00 seconds, should consider participating in another event. Fans are anticipating the winning time in Paris to be 21.24 seconds. These two Stars – Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson Herah are planning to assault the current 200m record of 21.34 seconds.
Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. In 2024, she will realize that she has an opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done and no chance of being repeated. She will have a chance to complete a Triple Double in the 100m and 200m at the Olympics. She will have an opportunity to add some granite to her already cemented Track and Field career. Her Legacy, despite a Sub-Par 2023 season is etched in the annals of Olympic History.

Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce is expected to be competitive in the 100m and might get a Silver or Bronze medal in the event. Fans do not believe Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce will be a Factor in the Women 200m in Paris 2024 but strange things happen in Track and Field. She will be an excellent asset in the 4X100m Relay.

Julien Alfred is still adjusting to Olympic level competition. Completion of such adjustment should be noticeable in 2028. An expectation that Julien Alfred will be on the 100m and 200m Podiums at Paris 2024 is probably naïve.

Marie Jose Ta Lou is a competitor and good for Track and Field. She will always win some one-off races but come up short in Olympic Finals. However, Stars will always consider her a force to be reckoned with. She could be a factor in the 100m in Paris 2024. Marie Jose Talou, Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce, Shacari Richardson, Elaine Thompson Herah, and Shericka Jackson will make it difficult for Julien Alfred to have success in the 100m and 200m. Marie Jose Talou will continue her Quest for Gold – 2024.

Men 400m will be a thriller. Can Antonio Watson of Jamaica run a sub 44.00 seconds? Expectations are that multiple Jamaicans will deliver in this event, at Paris 2024. To that end they are ahead of schedule. Too bad Sean Bailey was not able to run a better race in Budapest. Antonio Watson ran the perfect race under the circumstances in Budapest. Congratulations to Antonio Watson for his Tactical performance. Those who have been asking Glen Mills for 400m Stars will see this victory as Redemption -“One Bob”. Men 400m Hurdles has become a Karsten Warholm affair. Running this event in 46.89 seconds is fast. Use to be 47.XX seconds would get the Gold medal but not anymore. McMaster appears to be doing something right in training. Rai Benjamin will be a factor. McMaster will be the Athlete to watch in Paris 2024. Clarke gave a good account of himself and produced a Valiant effort in Budapest. Great things are in store for the young man in this event.

Men 110m Hurdles with Grant Holloway, Hansle Parchment, and Rasheed Broadbell will always be a battle. Winning the event in a time of 12.96 seconds or better will become common. With Gravity in control of the times in this event, it is unlikely we will see a sub 12.80 seconds result for this event.

Women pole Vault is an event that does not get much attention. Next year at the Olympics 2024, the event should have a strong following. Fans expect to see names like USA Katie Moon and Australia Nina Kennedy.

Men pole Vault is an exciting event. EJ Obiena of the Philippines is on pace to get the Gold medal in Paris 2024. The Philippines is preparing for another magnanimous Olympic moment.

Men High Jump, Tamberi, Harrison, and Barshim are the Stars in this Event. The results might be the same in Paris 2024 but fans anticipate a shuffle in the standings with Harrison given a slight edge. It will be interesting to see if anyone can jump higher than 2.36m.
Gold medalist Gianmarco Tamberi C of Italy, silver medalist JuVaughn Harrison L of the U.S. and bronze medalist Mutaz Essa Barshim of Qatar celebrate on the podium during the awarding ceremony for the men’s high jump at the World Athletics Championships 2023 in Budapest, Hungary, Aug. 23, 2023. Men Long Jump is demonstration that Jamaican athletes are rediscovering the Field events. Wayne Pinnock, Tajay Gayle, and Carey McLeod finished 2, 3, and 4 respectively in Budapest. With a little bit of luck it would have been a 1, 2, and 3 finish for the Jamaicans.

Most Athletes are taking time off before Training and preparation for Olympics 2024 but the Tail Gate Party continues.
World Championships – 2023 was exciting with surprising results in some finals. The experience required more recovery time than anticipated. Jamaican Athletes are ahead of schedule for Paris 2024. Below are takeaways from Budapest.
Women 100m finals saw a surprising winner Shacari Richardson. If ETH was in Track shape the result would have been different. Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce fitness was exposed and Shericka Jackson lacks the ferociousness of a 100m sprinter. To be a 100m champion you must run through the finish line and not to it. Because of that error in execution Shericka Jackson failed to be a double Gold medalist. Congratulations to Shacari Richardson. She is better than she was at Prefontaine Classic 2021 but still not better than 10.54.
MVP Track Club is not a need or of value in the way forward for Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH). Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. In 2024, she will realize that she has an opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done and no chance of being repeated. She will have a chance to complete a Triple Double of the 100M and 200M at the Olympics. She will have an opportunity to add some granite to her already cemented Track and Field career. Her Legacy, despite a disappointing 2023 season will be forever known. Newcomers to the Sport will aspire to win doubles and not just a gold medal in an event. That mindset will add another level to Track and Field.
Men 100m Finals looked like a best of the rest competition. Noah Lyles ran an exceptional race but there was the looming specter of where was everyone else. The event had a slow motion feeling. Oblique Seville appears to be comfortable with 4th place finishes in finals. Glen Mills has work to do. Congratulations to Noah Lyles.
Women 200m Finals was the Shericka Jackson Invitational. Gabby Thomas has significant psychological work to do. Shacari Richardson is unlikely to contend for the Gold medal in the 200m. When ETH returns in 2024 the excitement level will rise in this event. Don’t be surprised if Shericka Jackson is challenged. 21.53 seconds is not far from 21.41. Hold on to your hats if you need them for Church Services. When those two Stars come around the bend at Paris 2024 all hats are off. Congratulations to Shericka Jackson for a stellar performance in Budapest 2023.
Men 200m was the Noah Lyles clinic. Apparently the preliminary rounds eliminated the Legs of everyone except Noah. Erriyon Knighton has seemingly reached his zenith. The rest of the competition need to rediscover themselves before Paris 2024. There is talk about Antonio Watson throwing is beret into the 200m mix but fans not sure he can run sub 20.00 seconds for the event. Regardless congratulations to Noah Lyles for his performance and victory in Budapest.
Women 100m Hurdles was the Blue Ribbon event. The competition was fierce. The field was very talented. Expect more of the same at Olympics 2024. On any given day anyone of the participants can win that race. The margin for error is low. It came down to whoever cleared the 3rd Hurdle first. Danielle Williams did and thereafter everyone was playing catch up. Jasmine Camacho Quinn did well to fight back but it was Danielle Williams day. Congratulations to Danielle Williams.
Women 400m Flat saw Mari Leidy Paulino from the Dominican Republic dominate the competition. With a winning time of 48.77 seconds Paulino is ahead of the competition. The question now is can she run faster than 47.60 seconds. When Sydney McLaughlin, Salwa Eid Naser, Gabby Thomas, and Shaunae Miller- Uibo are ready to perform it would be interesting to witness performances and result. Despite said speculation, Congratulations to Mari Leidy Paulino.
Men 400m Finals was a thriller. Antonio Watson of Jamaica delivered a fantastic victory in a time of 44.22 seconds. That victory could not have been scripted. Expectations were that Jamaicans would deliver in this event next year. To that end they are ahead of schedule. Too bad Sean Bailey was not able to run a better race. Antonio Watson ran the perfect race under the circumstances. Congratulations to Antonio Watson for his Tactical performance. Those who have been asking Glenn Mills for 400m Stars will see this victory as Redemption -“One Bob”. Making the Jamaican 400m Team for Olympics 2024 should be interesting and competitive. Anticipation is Jamaica Men 4 X 400m Relay team for Paris 2024 will be strong.
Women 400m Hurdles saw Femke Bol win in a time of 51.70 seconds. Shamir Little took second and Rochelle Clark took third. Quite frankly the result was not impressive. The finish of that race was interesting. Rochelle Clayton can win this race in Paris 2024. She has to work on her race between the 200m and 300m section. She has a faster finish than Bol and Little. Great things are possible for Rochelle. Regardless congratulations to Femke Bol.
Men 400m Hurdles has become a Karsten Warholm affair. Running this event in 46.89 seconds is fast. Use to be 47.00 seconds would get the Gold medal but not anymore. McMaster finishing second appears to be doing something right in training. Rai Benjamin with a 3rd place finish held form but was unable to close the performance gap between himself and Warholm. McMaster will be the Athlete to watch in Paris 2024. Clarke gave a good account of himself and produced a Valiant effort. Great things are in store for the young man in this event. Regardless congratulations to Karsten Warholm.
Men 110m Hurdles saw Grant Holloway outclass the field but at the end Hansel Parchment and Daniel Roberts decided to join the competition. Winning the event in time of 12.96 seconds is exceptional. While Rasheed Broadbell might have turned in a time of 12.93 seconds the margin of victory would have been negligible. With Gravity in control of the times in this event, it’s possible that we are unlikely to see a sub 12.90 seconds run for this event. Congratulations to Grant Holloway in his victory.
Women 800m saw Mary Moraa, Athing Mu, and Keely Hodgkinson in a battle to the finish. The winning time of 1:53:03 is remarkable. Athing Mu was challenged and may need to reconstruct her preparation. Athletes like Natoya Goule – Topping with a PB of 1:57:00 has significant background work to do. Congratulations to Mary Moraa for a Tactical performance.
Men 800m was an event many Fans were not keen on. Fans could not discern any one “fire in the belly competitor “. Arop of Canada came away with the victory in a time of 1:44:24 but Track fans think the event can be run faster, probably in a time of 1:43:00. Except for Arop it is hard to imagine an athlete who might produce that time by Paris 2024. Congratulations to Arop of Canada.
Women 1500m saw Faith Kipyegon and Sifan Hassan continue their battles but they now have company in a spirited competitor- Welteji. Until Kipyegon and Hassan are not in the top 3 finishing positions, the status quo remains. Congratulations to Kipyegon for a well run race.
Men 1500m or Mile saw Josh Kerr of Great Britain survive to win the event in 3:33:00. Ingerbrightsen of Norway gave it a Valiant effort but ran out of energy. Fans expected a faster time but apparently the competitors were victims of the rounds. The winning time in Paris 2024 is expected to be in the neighborhood of 3:20 to 3:25. Congratulations to Josh Kerr.
Women pole Vault is an event that does not get much attention. Next year at the Olympics the event is expected to draw a strong following. The competition was a hard fought battle between USA Katie Moon and Australia Nina Kennedy. In the end the Ladies agreed to accept a tie. Both Competitors were credited for a Vault of 4:80m. Congratulations to USA Katie Moon and Australia Nina Kennedy.
Men pole Vault was an exciting competition. EJ Obiena got the Silver medal. He is on pace to get the Gold medal in Paris 2024. The Philippines is preparing for another magnanimous Olympic moment. Congratulations to Mondo Duplantis for winning the event with a Vault of 6:00m
Women High Jump is popular. Mahuchikh, Patterson, and Olyslagers put on a good show for the fans. The Jamaican- Distin looks very good. Expectations are Lamara Distin will be a factor in Paris 2024. The event exhibited excellent performances. Congratulations to Mahuchikh for surviving the challenge with a Jump of 2.01m.
Men High Jump, Tamberi, Harrison, and Barshim were triumphant 1, 2, and 3 respectively in the competition. The results might be the same in Paris 2024 but fans anticipate a shuffle in the standings with Harrison given a slight edge. Congratulations to Tamberi with the winning height of 2.36m.
Women Long Jump could benefit from a little more excitement. Fans are concerned that competitors are not offering much of a challenge. In the end Ivana Vuleta, Tamara Davis, and Rotaru – Kottman took Gold, Silver, and Bronze respectively. Congratulations to Vuelta with the winning Jump of 7:14m. There is a strong feeling that the result will be different in Paris 2024.
Men Long Jump was a demonstration that Jamaican athletes are rediscovering the Field events. Wayne Pinnock, Tajay Gayle, and Carey McLeod finished 2, 3, and 4 respectively. With a little bit of luck it would have been a 1, 2, and 3 finish for the Jamaicans. Congratulations to Militadis Tentoglou who won the event.
