The triple double at Olympics 2024 is in jeopardy. Frankly, it was in trouble after the coaching debacle with Shanikie Osbourne. Regardless the Fat lady has not sung yet.
Time is not on the side of the sprint queen. With the Jamaican National trials about two weeks away, it is unlikely that the injury will be healed by then. There was looming procrastination in the off-season. Failure to succeed at the trials will have an impact on her ability to mount a credible defense of her Olympic titles. Such an eventuality will dampen the excitement of Olympics 2024. This will be tragic and fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah are bracing themselves for what could be the end of an era. Including Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce planned departure and Shericka Jackson not looking fit, we could be unexpectedly preparing for a changing of the Track and Field guards.

Indications are that the 10.6x era will experience a setback. With the big 3 not performing well the women 100m final at Paris Olympics is unlikely to be faster than 10.70 seconds. That time will be consistent with procrastination in preparation and slow times. Could the increase in frequency of the World Championship be having a negative impact on the Olympics. Something to ponder. For Paris 2024, if the women 100m and 200m finals are slower than 10.65 seconds and 21.40 seconds respectively then fans will be disappointed. Too many World Championships could spoil the Olympics.
The environment is rich for Julien Alfred. She could be a surprising recipient of Athletic accolades. However, I cannot imagine her running sub 10.7 for the 100m and sub 22.0 for the 200m but that is why they run the races.

Fans are still uncertain of intentions, strategy, and ultimate objectives. However, the impression is that all Athletes are aware it is 2024. Hence it is an Olympic year in a Leap year. Time to get READY, SET, and GO. Athletes know the Drill. Pack your bags, get on your best mode of Transportation and make it to the Track or Field on time. By end of June, 2024, avid Track and Field fans will have an idea of which Athletes are ready for Paris 2024.
Survey indicates that the following Events will have BLUE RIBBON status in Paris: Women -100m, 100m Hurdles, 200m, 400m flat, and 400m hurdles. Men – 100m, 200m, 110m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, and 400m flat. Beyond that all events will be typical Olympics competition.

Stars and Competitors need to be cognizant of time, distance, and height associated with eligibility to participate in each event at the Olympics. Here are the Qualifying Standards by Event. Paris Olympics 2024 is almost ready to welcome all. Whether you are a Track and Field fanatic or not; Flights, Hotel, Events Tickets, Seats, and plans for post event activities are completed. All Athletes planning to participate at the Paris Olympics July 26 to August 11, 2024, are aware that Fans consider them capable to step on the podium. Athletes are working extremely hard and by end of June 2024 some will declare that competing is not the operative, winning in Paris is. If you are not near your best Time, Distance, or Height in June, you will be challenged in the Paris Olympics.

Track and Field Season 2024 is the year of the presumptive Triple Double in Women 100m and 200m at the Olympics. Avid Track Fans believe 2024 is the only year in History for that spectacular occurrence. One exceptional Athlete is two thirds there. You might have the experience of seeing just that but you might not.
Elaine Thompson Herah performances in 2024 has been disappointing. Having said that ETH is still odds-on favorite to win the 100m in Paris. Mistakes happen and the Star is expected to be ready by the Jamaican National Trials. Pundits and Naysayers should relent with the negativity.
Regardless of rumors about Achilles heel problem, Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) should return to Track shape. The Queen of Women Sprinting is moving forward with her preparation for Paris 2024. Some of this forecast is dreaming but Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. She will acknowledge that she has an opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done and no chance of being repeated. She will have a chance to complete a Triple Double of the 100m and 200m at the Olympics. She will have an opportunity to add some granite to her already cemented Track and Field career. Her Legacy, despite a sub-par 2023 season will be forever known.

Gabby Thomas has significant work to do. Shacari Richardson is unlikely to contend for the gold medal in the 200m. When ETH is ready in 2024 the excitement level will rise in this event. Do not be surprised if Shericka Jackson is challenged. Hold on to your hat if you need it for Church Services. When these two Stars come around the bend at Paris 2024, remove or lose your hat.

Women 400m Flat will be competitive. MariLeidy Paulino appears to be ahead of the competition. The question now is can she run faster than 47.60 seconds and can she deal with the pressure. Having said that, I do not believe Sydney McLaughlin has any interest in challenging MariLeidy Paulino. However, Nickisha Pryce is sending signals that she will be ready to perform. It will be interesting to witness performances and result. However, MariLeidy Paulino will be a Factor.

Elaine Thompson Herah performance at Prefontaine classic 2024 was disappointing. Having said that ETH is still odds on favorite to win the 100m in Paris. Fans are wondering what happened after the start of this race. Did Elaine take a snooze after the gun sounded the alarm? It appears she did. Why would you fly from Jamaica to Oregon and not run. Pundits and Naysayers should back off with the negativity. None of the Pundits and Naysayers can run 50 meters in 11.30 seconds.

The camps are quiet. Not much news about the Big Three. The big 3 as in Elaine Thompson – Herah, Shericka Jackson, and Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce. Some athletes had an off year in 2023 but with fortitude, they bounced back and salvaged their season. Fans are happy to see that Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) through belief and resilience is presumed prepared for the 2024 season. She should have a 2024 season equivalent to 2021. Expectations are that she will join the 200m chase to break the world record of 21.34 seconds. With some effort, ETH can break the 100m world record of 10.49 seconds. Her performance should produce a time of 10.47 seconds. Track Fans cannot imagine Shacari Richardson or Shericka Jackson running the 100m event faster than 10.65 seconds.

Athletes, whose 200m performance is slower than 22.00 seconds, should consider participating in another event. Fans are anticipating the Olympic winning time in Paris to be 21.24 seconds. These two Stars – Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson Herah are planning to assault the current 200m record of 21.34 seconds. Believe it or not.

Regardless of rumors about Achilles problem, Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) should return to Track shape. The Queen of Women Sprinting is moving forward with her preparation for Paris 2024. MVP Track Club is not a need or of value in the way forward for Elaine Thompson Herah. Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. In 2024, she will acknowledge that she has an opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done and no chance of being repeated. She will have a chance to complete a Triple Double of the 100m and 200m at the Olympics. She will have an opportunity to add some granite to her already cemented Track and Field career. Her Legacy, despite a sub-par 2023 season will be forever known.

There is Excitement and Entertainment in Track and Field. Going forward in the 100m and 200m events, Stars will have no time to keep anything in Reserve, they will leave it all on the Track. It is unlikely that Shacari Richardson or Shericka Jackson will run the 100m faster than 10.65 seconds. Shacari or Shericka will be Factors in the Women 100m in Paris 2024. Shacari might win the 100m in Paris 2024 but unlikely to be on the 200m Podium. The Quest for Gold in women Sprints has never been more of a contest since “The First Olympics”. Do you remember that day?

Elaine Thompson Herah and Team discontinued relationship with Coach Shanikie Osbourne. Supposedly, Shanikie was asking for too much money. Fans hope none involved traded Athlete Coach Chemistry for dollars. Elaine Thompson Herah is the one doing the Training, Dieting, and Running but the intangible of Chemistry between Athlete and coach might be worth more than the Dollars. Athlete has to succeed in the Quest for Gold for that trade to be right.
Track and Field Season 2024 is the year of the presumptive Triple Double in Women 100m and 200m at the Olympics. Avid Track Fans believe 2024 is the only year in History for that spectacular occurrence. One exceptional Athlete is two thirds there. Fans would like to experience that achievement. The physical and the spiritual is always a delicate balancing act.
Fans are happy that Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) through belief and resilience is looking good and prepared for the 2024 season. She will have a 2024 season equivalent to 2021. However, distraction could have a negative impact. The Elite Track Club environment is not expected to be perfect for the Star.

Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce is expected to be competitive in the 100m and might get a Silver or Bronze medal in the event. Fans do not believe Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce will be a Factor in the Women 200m in Paris 2024 but strange things happen in Track and Field. She will be an excellent asset in the 4X100m Relay.

Marie Jose Ta Lou is a competitor and good for Track and Field. She will always win some one-off races but come up short in Olympic Finals. However, Stars will always consider her a force to be reckoned with. She could be a factor in the 100m in Paris 2024. Marie Jose Talou, Shelley Ann Fraser Pryce, Shacari Richardson, Elaine Thompson Herah, and Shericka Jackson will make it difficult for Julien Alfred to have success in the 100m and 200m. Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) Management, discontinued relationship with Coach Shanikie Osbourne. Could this be the Dark side of Money? Supposedly, Shanikie was asking for either $JAM-100K, $US-100K, $JAM-1M, or $US-1M. Those amounts are too far apart. Which dollars is it? Indication is that negotiations were done via Texting. This kind of negotiation should have been done Face-to-Face to prevent any mis-communication or mis – interpretation. Money is the root of all evil. The light is shining bright on envy, jealousy, and greed. Probably on both sides. $US-100K should be affordable for desired results.

Fans are asking all involved especially Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH), not to be Penny – wise and Pound-foolish. Slow down and reconsider before signing a deal with Elite Track Club. Give Shanikie Osbourne a chance to confirm her true intentions. This is an important matter for Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH). Fans have not heard much from her. Might help if she scheduled a Press Conference. She is the one doing the Training, Dieting, and Running. It might help if she step forward and tell us what she thinks.

ETH Management should re-consider. Do not deprive the Fans of a Triple Double experience. Seventy percent of sprinting is mental. The right coach will provide that mental edge. Shanikie Osbourne salvaged ETH 2023 season. Fans look forward to a quick and successful resolution. ETH is the one doing the Training, Dieting, and Running. The 2024 Season has not yet started. Therefore, Fans would like to hear her perspective on the facts. ETH is the one with a Triple Double on the Line and THE RIGHT COACHING CHEMISTRY IS REQUIRED.

Oil and water does not mix. Money and Coaching does not mix. A coach should request a fair price to work with an Athlete and not tie his or her income with that of the Athlete’s Contract. The Athlete’s contract should have nothing to do with the coach. Besides, how would a coach become privy to that information unless said coach was snooping or the information was shared. Such action begs the question, are you interested in the Athlete or her money.

The same question can be directed to Management of the Athlete. Are you interested in the Athlete or her money? Fans believe that negotiations with Shanike were incomplete and Shanike should have been asked to base her price on her 2023 earnings and add any increase because of the task. If Shanike refuse to negotiate accordingly then ETH will be justified to dismiss her. Fans would like to be sure that management is not trying to coach ETH again after the failure in 2022. There is that Looming thought. You cannot Train alone.

Track and Field Season 2024 is the year of the presumptive Triple Double in Women 100m and 200m at the Olympics. Avid Track Fans believe 2024 is the only year in History for that spectacular occurrence. One exceptional Athlete is two thirds there. Fans would like to have the experience.
Fans are happy that Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) through belief and resilience is looking good and prepared for the 2024 season. She will have a 2024 season equivalent to 2021. However, distraction could have a negative impact and the Elite Track Club environment is not perfect for the Star.

Quite candidly, Fans do not believe Shacari or Shericka will be a Factor in the Women 100m in Paris 2024.

Fans are expecting performances in the Women 200m event to be better than the Elaine Thompson Herah line of 21.53 seconds. Athletes, whose 200m performance is slower than 22.00 seconds, should consider participating in another event. Fans are anticipating the winning time in Paris to be 21.24 seconds. These two Stars – Shericka Jackson and Elaine Thompson Herah are planning to assault the current 200m record of 21.34 seconds.

Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) is returning to Track shape. The Queen of Women Sprinting is moving forward with her preparation for Paris 2024. MVP Track Club is not a need or of value in the way forward for Elaine Thompson Herah. Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. In 2024, she will realize that she has an opportunity to accomplish something that has never been done and no chance of being repeated. She will have a chance to complete a Triple Double in the 100m and 200m at the Olympics. She will have an opportunity to add some granite to her already cemented Track and Field career. Her Legacy, despite a Sub-Par 2023 season is etched in the annals of Olympic History.

The Stars are experiencing a level of anxiety. There is no time to rest and some in the Athletic community are exhibiting discord. Hence there is looming Jitters. While there were good performances in 2023, the Stars know there is work to do before Paris 2024. Regardless of the high drama in Budapest 2023, those who take their talent seriously are well aware they can do better. Preparations have begun to attain that other level of athleticism by the Paris Olympics.

Shelly Ann Fraser – Pryce and Elaine Thompson – Herah are back on the Trail. Both Stars know that one can never be too ready. Athletes have to put in the work to get meaningful results. After an action packed and drama filled Budapest world Championship – 2023, competitors know what to expect and will be bringing their A – Game to Paris – 2024. Fans think that Julien Alfred is on the cusp of joining the Stars circle. Stars cannot rest on their laurels.

Shericka Jackson has taken ownership of the Women 200m event. The event has become the Shericka Jackson Invitational. Gabby Thomas has significant work to do. Shacari Richardson is unlikely to contend for the Gold medal in the 200m. In 2024 Elaine Thompson – Herah (ETH) will raise the excitement level in this event. Do not be surprised if Shericka Jackson is challenged. Hold on to your hat if you need it for Church Services. When those two Stars come around the bend at Paris 2024, remove or lose your hat.

Reports are that ETH Management is considering breaking relationship with current coach Shanikie Osbourne. Fans are asking all principals not to be Penny – wise and Pound-foolish. Let us move forward with Training and preparation for Olympics 2024. Do not deprive the Fans of a Triple Double experience. Seventy percent of sprinting is mental. Shanikie Osbourne salvaged ETH 2023 season. Fans look forward to a quick resolution. ETH mission should she choose to accept it is 10.47 and 21.24 for the 100m and 200m respectively. All Flight Paths end in Budapest, Hungary for Track and Field World Championships August 19, 2023. Jamaica Men 4x100M squad, should medal in Budapest but it will take excellent baton passing. Four men capable of 9.9X with a running start should produce a time of 36.XX to 37.XX seconds for the event through the rounds. Regardless which Athletes are selected to run the final, they should be able to accomplish a time between 36 and 37 seconds. That should be good enough to get on the podium. Except for the USA, not many countries have two athletes who can run sub 10.00 seconds for the 100M event.

Jamaica Men 4x400M squad, should medal in Budapest. Four men capable of 45.XX with a running start should produce a time below 3:00 minutes for the event. Are we there yet?
Expectations by Key Events and Gender are as follows:
In the Women 100M Final, Shericka Jacko Jackson, and Shelly Ann Fraser – Pryce should medal. The Men 100M Final will be a different story. Fans fail to fathom a scenario in which Jamaican Men will earn a medal. However, strange things happen in Track and Field.
In the Women 200M Final, Shericka Jacko Jackson should medal. The Women 200M Event has a Looming cloud. Fans are having difficulty determining if Gabby Thomas is ready. Can Julien Alfred run a sub 22.00 seconds? Where does Dina Asher Smith factor in this mix? May the best Woman win on that day. Men 200M Final, is still wide open. Some Fans are not willing to declare Noah Lyles the winner. However, astute Fans know that 20.XX is not going to win that Event. Fans fail to fathom a scenario in which a Jamaican will win the event. No, I am not bashing, Track Fans welcome the facts every time.

The Women 400M Final is a Crapshoot. With Sydney McLaughlin – Levrone out of the Event there is new life for all Participants. Gabby Thomas would have had a Ball and ¾. Fans are bumming out on missing a thriller 400M event. Fans can envision a scenario in which a Jamaican could win the event. The Men 400M Final should be a Steven Gardiner affair but if he cheats on the backstretch, he will have a rude awakening.

The Women 800M Final should be interesting but there is rumor that Athing Mu might skip the Event. Natoya Goule is a star. She will be a force to reckon with. For The Men 800M Final take your Pick or root for your kind of Athlete.

The Hurdles will be the Blue Ribbon Event. The Women 100M Hurdles have a Cast of characters who could win the Event. Expectations are it will be a Jamaica versus USA rivalry. Whoever gets over the Third Hurdle first wins the Event. The Men 110M Hurdles should be a battle between Grant Holloway and Rasheed Broadbell.
Women 400M Hurdles could see Femke Bol win Gold but there could be a surprise. Probably best to see how the Rounds shake out. Men 400M Hurdles could see Rai Benjamin produce a spectacular performance but expect competition from the Jamaicans.

In the 1500M or Mile, I have no picks
Where it relates to the Relays there are four events and Jamaica has a slight edge in one, the Women 4 X 100M relay. Baton passing will be Key in the 4 X 100M relay. Whoever runs Legs 1 and 2 will be crucial to the result. My assumption is Elaine Thompson Herah will run the second Leg, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce will run the third Leg and Shericka Jacko Jackson will run the Anchor Leg.

Fans are calling for an end to the drought of victories and a return to performances consistent with Heritage. Fans anticipate Jamaica’s male Track and Field athletes to resume dominance at Olympics 2024. From this perspective, World Championships 2023 will not be the venue for Signature Performances. We know things will get better but it is time to get to work. Fans will patiently wait and provide pens for Signature performances at Olympics 2024.
Let us agree to dis-agree, World Championships 2023 will be a dress rehearsal for Olympics 2024. Fans anticipate improvement in Field events such as Long Jump, Triple JumpJavelin, Discus, Shot Put, Hammer throw, and High Jump. Hurdling has caught on. Jamaica’s Male Hurdlers are demonstrating what Fans expected in this Event. Learn the Technique and use your speed. Track and Field is hard work and Perseverance.

Looming disappointment came and left the Stadium. Let us move forward. MVP Track Club is not a need or of value in the way forward for Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH). Elaine Thompson Herah will be fine. Her Legacy, despite a disappointing 2023 season will be forever known. Newcomers to the Sport will aspire to win multiple doubles and not just a gold medal in an event. That mindset will add another level to Athletics.

Having said that let us look at the Jamaican National Trials – 2023. What was the Takeaway for astute Fans? Females are ready but need some fine-tuning. Male sprinters are glaringly not ready. Yohan Blake is ready to join the Sports Max Team. It is time for him to give Commentary and withdraw from competition.
Males who competed in the Jamaican 2023 National Trials should pull up a chair, watch a video of their performance, and while doing so get a video of the USA National Trials. Each Athlete should ask himself one question, am I good enough to compete? If you want an answer from this Fan, no you are not. Let us just look at the 100M and 200M. If your plan is to run 9.9X for the 100M and 20.2X for the 200M and write home to Mama announcing your victory in Budapest, I urge you to perish the thought. My recommendation is for the 100M think sub 9.8X and for the 200M think sub 19.7X.

There are prospects for Jamaica’s male Track and Field. It is time for all to Big Up. Usain is not the only one who can run. Did Usain take the best track shoes home? Thank goodness, he did not take the women shoes. Usain Bolt might have been an inspiration or the equivalent of an insurance policy but Fans are looking for a few good men to inspire and motivate others.
There were great expectations that success at Common Wealth Games 2018 would carry forward to Olympics 2020 in Tokyo. Unfortunately, Fans did not realize that expectation. At Commonwealth Games 2018, the team placed 11TH out of 43 with 27 Medals in total – 7 Gold, 9 Silver, and 11 Bronze. Not too shabby for an Island Nation. Fans anticipated improvement in Field events such as Long Jump, Triple JumpJavelin, Discus, Shot Put, Hammer throw, and High Jump. Those gains did not materialize in Tokyo 2021 but Fans anticipate they are forthcoming.

It appears that the rebound of Elaine Thompson Herah (ETH) might be threatened. Pre- season 2022 she opened with a 400M experiment, which in retrospect failed. Pre- season 2023 she again opened with another 400M experiment, which objectively was a failure. Unless it was a planned 300M experiment, it failed or proved nothing. Said experiment can be done in Training. Fans have no interest in seeing their Star struggle. Lactic acid will embarrass any Athlete. Our Star is not focus on her Bread and Butter events. Since the coaching staff is confused, then it is time for Sponsors to speak up. Disappointment is in the air.
If an Athlete wishes to experiment with the 400M, then do it in Training. The notion that running the 400M will prepare one for the 200M is folly, at least for ETH. No one wish for a return to her previous Track Club but Fans are encouraging current coaches to get their act together. ETH is on the cusp of a three – Peat of the double, 100 and 200M, at Olympics in 2024. By Jove, get to that point coaches. If this conduct is a strategy then Fans are now asking what exactly is the Goal. Disappointment is Looming.

They are planning to deliver exceptional performances to cap the era 2016 – 2024. Fans believe the 100M world record will be 10.47 seconds, the 200M world record will be 21.2 seconds, the 400M world record will be 47.5, and the 800M world record will be 1:52.55 by the end of Track season 2024.
Track and Field 2023 is moving forward. Track and Field is creating excitement and the World is watching. Expectations are Stars will be ready and competitors will be back rejuvenated and determined to outperform their rivals. In the midst of all this excitement and anticipation, The Olympics women 100M Record Holder is seemingly inactive. Disappointment is Looming.

2023 and 2024, will be defining years for some Track and Field stars. Careers will end or begin in these two years. Women 100M record will be 10.47 and the 200M record will be 21.2 seconds. BeyondApparent.com thinks the Olympic record holder for the 100M is most likely to accomplish that success as long as there are no hidden injuries. Fans should not be distracted by 60M Events. There is an Ocean between 60M and 100M and you had better be able to swim.
Women 400M and 800M events will be very competitive. Gabby Thomas will hunt for treasure in the 400M event. The 800M is still unsorted. With the exception of Athing Mu, there is still no indication in 2023 of anyone ready to be World Champion in the 800M event.

Jamaican Female sprinters, have unfinished business. Fans of Elaine Thompson – Herah (ETH) anticipate excellent years in 2023 and 2024. They are anxious for Signature Performances. The next two years 2023 and 2024 is Prime time to run 10.47 for the Women 100M event. If 10.47 is not attained Fans will wait decades for that opportunity. Base on 2023 performances, 10.47 in the women 100M is more likely to occur in Paris than in Budapest. That record will last forever and a Day.

Absent injuries, ETH should to be a Factor in the Women 100M and 200M events in Budapest Hungary August 19, 2023. Less than Signature Performances will be a disappointment. Elaine Thompson – Herah, has work to do but nothing to be nervous about. The Spear will be burning in Budapest and will make Jamaica proud.

Athletes planning to be in the Women 100M Final in Budapest with a Personal Best (PB) slower than 10.7X should skip the event. Participating in the event with a PB south of 10.7X, will make you late for Dinner, where dinner is the Gold Medal. The Women’s 100M Final in Budapest 2023 is on Track for a Time of 10.61 or better. The Tail Gate Party continues to Olympics 2024.
